Bookmarks

Bookmarks live inside workspaces.

Permissions​

  • ADMIN and PUBLISHER can create, edit, and delete bookmarks.
  • ADMIN can bulk delete bookmarks.
  • VIEWER is read-only.

Create a bookmark​

When adding a bookmark, you provide:

  • Name
  • URL
  • (Optional) Description
  • (Optional) Tags

If your organization has reached its plan limit for bookmarks, Linkinize blocks new bookmark creation until you upgrade or delete bookmarks.

Import bookmarks​

You can import bookmarks from a browser export.

Supported format:

  • An exported bookmarks HTML file (for example from Chrome/Firefox/Safari)

Import flow:

  1. Upload the HTML export file.
  2. Review the extracted links, edit names if needed, and select which ones to import.
  3. Confirm to import into the current workspace.

Notes:

  • Import is subject to bookmark quota.
  • Linkinize validates selected links; invalid URLs must be fixed or deselected.

Edit a bookmark​

You can update:

  • Name
  • URL
  • Description
  • Icon (optional)
  • Tags

Delete a bookmark​

Deleting a bookmark removes it from the workspace.

Bulk delete​

Workspace admins can delete multiple bookmarks at once.

When bulk deleting, Linkinize also removes:

  • Tag relations for those bookmarks
  • Generated short links for those bookmarks

Export bookmarks​

Workspace admins can export bookmarks as a CSV file.

Notes:

  • The export link is signed (time-bound) for safety.
  • Export currently includes name and url columns.

Bookmark activity​

When you open a bookmark, Linkinize shows an activity history for changes (for example, name/url/description updates).
