Workspaces

A workspace is where your team stores and manages bookmarks.

Workspace permissions

Each workspace membership has a permission level:

  • ADMIN: manage members, tags, and all bookmark actions (including bulk delete)
  • PUBLISHER: create and edit bookmarks (and other non-admin actions)
  • VIEWER: read-only access

Create a workspace

Organization admins can create workspaces.

When creating a workspace, you can optionally add existing organization users and assign their workspace permission.

If you reach your plan's workspace limit, Linkinize blocks workspace creation until you upgrade or delete a workspace.

Rename a workspace

Organization admins can rename workspaces.

Delete a workspace

Organization admins can delete workspaces.

Deletion removes:

  • Workspace members
  • Workspace bookmarks
  • Workspace tags

Manage workspace members

There are two ways members are managed:

  • Organization admins can add/remove members and change permissions from the organization workspace settings.
  • Workspace admins (ADMIN in that workspace) can manage members from inside the workspace.

Only active organization members can be added to a workspace.
